My second ever photo booklet.
I first engaged with Rethink Mental illness (Walsall) five months ago, due to having work-related stress, which caused anxiety and depression. Quickly after my first meeting with Sue (who is now my caseworker) and has been invaluable by the way, I found that this place was the place to be and found benefit and help from the variety of groups that are run and I have met some great people, both staff and service users.
I was excited when it was mentioned that a Camera Group was going to be set up, as photography is one of my biggest passions. This project that you see here in this booklet was our second outing as a group and proved to be another accomplishment on my own personal journey to getting better. Hopefully, this particular group will also help to build up my confidence and get me back out there doing what I do best, photographing live music gigs...
